Travel + Accommodations
-
Comfortable Clothing:
Pack clothes suitable for a variety of activities, including yoga, walking, hiking, pool time and relaxing. Bring daytime clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty including shorts, leggings, short sleeve and long sleeve tops, comfortable socks, a hat and a rain jacket. Hiking shoes that will grip the ground (not running shoes) are best for hikes so you won’t slip. Evenings may call for jeans and sweaters - nothing too fancy is required in Park City!
Pack Layers! Mornings start chilly and warm up throughout the day. Then chilly again once the sun goes down.
Toiletries:
Don't forget your personal hygiene items, including sunscreen, bug spray, and any necessary medications.
Phone and Charger:
Keep your phone charged for emergencies and staying connected, but try to disconnect from social media and work as much as you can while at KAMP so you can return home feeling refreshed and reconnected with yourself, your new friends and nature. You can post your pics and tag KAMP on the flight home!
Additional Items:
Snacks - we will provide snacks in your KAMP swag bag, but you may want to bring bars, nuts, or whatever gives you a little extra boost during the day in the event you need more than what’s provided.
Hip Pack, Cross Body or Backpack - You will want to have a small bag with you for our activities to hold your phone, snack, sunscreen, chapstick, water bottle, etc. Don’t bring anything too cumbersome. A waist or cross body pack is best. If you have a camelback, that is great too as Park City is very dry and you will need to drink a lot of water! These are some of our favorites: Cotopaxi Hip Pack, Patagonia Sling, Hydroflask Hydration Packs, Camelback Pack
-
Leave your fancy clothes and jewelry at home. KAMP (and Park City in general) is super casual. Bring active wear for the daily activities, and pack jeans or casual clothes for evening dinners and events at the St Regis and Main Street.
-
Yes, we will send all KAMPers a packing list to be sure they aren’t missing anything!
-
It’s always nice to travel with a little cash, but you shouldn’t need much as housekeeping and bellman gratuities are included in your fees. We will have some KAMP swag for sale, but you can put that on a credit card.
